Experience
Bercem graduated from Ankara University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration taught in English. She gained international experience during an Erasmus+ exchange semester at the University of Maribor in Slovenia. She also completed internships in both the public finance sector and corporate banking. Additionally, she holds a certificate focused on global foreign trade modules. These experiences gave her a solid foundation in financial analysis and corporate workflows.
Role in Manay CPA
At Manay CPA, Bercem works remotely as a Jr. Associate within the Accounting Operations team. Her role involves supporting client onboarding, business formation, and invoice issuance. She assists with depreciation schedules and the preparation of financial statements under GAAP. She also helps with corporate and individual tax returns, tax research, and payroll. Through this position, she aims to develop her hands-on skills in U.S. accounting frameworks.
In Daily Life
Outside of work, Bercem swims regularly to maintain an active routine. She enjoys analytical thinking and likes solving complex logic puzzles in her free time. She also dedicates time to music by practicing a musical instrument. Traveling and exploring different cultural environments brings her great joy.
