Professional Experience 

She has been a Certified Public Accountant in Turkey since 2011 and has held an Independent Auditor Certificate since 2013. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Public Finance at Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey. She completed her master’s degree in Accounting at the State University of New York. She has 13 years of auditing experience in various industries and has extensive sector knowledge in retail, tourism, automobile, textile, and consumer products. She specializes in auditing individual and consolidated financial statements. During her career at Baker Tilly Turkey, she had a chance to work with multinational companies and had experience with international accounting standards. As part of her role at Baker Tilly, she was responsible for US-based customers and had knowledge of US GAAP. Also, she spent most of her career on the Turkish Capital Market Board and International Financial Reporting Standards. She helped numerous clients to go public at the Stock Exchange of Turkey.

Role in Manay CPA

Begum Yorur serves as a Senior Team Supervisor at Manay CPA Inc. who is responsible for maintaining financial records at a business, preparing tax returns, evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, and developing and modifying the accounting system.
