Emre holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Middle East Technical University (2020) and a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from the same institution’s Informatics Institute (2024). His graduate research focused on Music Cognition, bridging the gap between analytical science and creative expression. Before joining his current firm, Emre gained professional experience in the Medical Data sector, where he honed his skills in data structures and systematic processing.
In addition to his academic and corporate background, Emre has maintained a career as a professional saxophonist for over 10 years. This decade of performance has instilled in him a high level of discipline and a unique perspective on improvisation and collaborative rhythm, which he applies to his multifaceted professional roles.
Role in Manay CPA
At Manay CPA, Emre holds a cross-functional position working closely with both the Data & Marketing and People & Culture teams. On the data side, his responsibilities focus on financial reporting, data maintenance, and complex technological integrations, ensuring the firm’s systems are both accurate and efficient. Simultaneously, he supports the People & Culture team by managing key aspects of recruitment and developing the firm’s internal Learning Management System (LMS). By blending data-driven insights with talent acquisition strategies, Emre plays a vital role in streamlining operations and supporting the firm’s organizational growth.
In Daily Life
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Emre is an avid Jazz and Funk musician, enjoying both the technical challenge of playing and the history of the genres. His intellectual curiosity continues through his interest in the Philosophy of Mind and Science, fields that heavily influenced his master’s thesis. Emre also finds inspiration through travel and experiencing new cultures through their cuisines, constantly seeking out fresh experiences and creative perspectives.
