Experience
Ömer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Marmara University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance. He began his career with internships at GAP Construction and Gayzer Capital, followed by progressive audit roles at Ernst & Young from 2021 to 2023, advancing from Audit Assistant to Senior Auditor. He then served as Experienced Senior Auditor at PwC and later as Transaction Services Associate at KPMG, where he conducted financial due diligence for M&A transactions involving corporate and private equity clients. His expertise spans financial auditing, due diligence, valuation analysis, and preparing high-quality reports that identify key deal issues and business drivers.
Role in Manay CPA
At Manay CPA, Ömer works as an Associate. He supports the team in tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and client advisory services, with a particular focus on U.S. taxation matters for Turkish and international clients. He applies his Big Four experience in auditing and transaction services to deliver accurate and efficient solutions. Ömer actively contributes to internal process improvements and assists senior staff in complex engagements.
In Daily Life
Outside of work, Ömer is passionate about political philosophy and individual liberties. He is a founding member of Biz Özgürüz Hareketi and Serbest Düşünce Derneği. He also pursues a distance-learning Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at Anadolu University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing drums, debating ideas, and staying informed about economic and political developments.
